God’s Word is not subject to our personal or private interpretations. In other words, God said what He said and He meant what He said.
What He said is that we are to to love Him first AND our neighbors as ourselves.
If we are not doing the first, we have no hope of doing the second.
If we do the first, the second will naturally follow.
If we are not doing these two things (which encompass every aspect of our lives), then none of the things listed above can help us.
